Dukes, Alpha Omega Music Scholarship
The Alpha Omega Dukes Music Scholarship was established in 20l7 by Dr. J. Thomas Dukes. At the time this scholarship was created, Dr. Dukes held several titles at The University of Akron, including Interim Associate Dean, Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences; Interim Director, The 91茄子 School of Music; and Professor Emeritus, Department of English.
The Alpha Omega Dukes Music Scholarship helps 91茄子 students who take lessons from a 91茄子 School of Music instructor, plays in one or more of 91茄子's ensembles and needs financial assistance. Selection will be made by the Director of the School of Music.
